Whoa, we made it!

Who would have thought that we would still be goin' strong? Happy Anniversary to my hubby of 9 years! I always explain our marriage like this...We are like wine, we didn't taste very good at first, but with time we have aged to perfection! =) We have been through so much together. I don't know what I would do without him. He knows me better than I do sometimes. I want to say thank you to him for ALWAYS trying to give me everything I want, being a great Daddy, daring to be different, starting our business so we can have lots of family time, having endless amounts of patience with me, being honest, and being my FRIEND! Paul really is wonderful. I am so happy that he believed in us, and we stuck with it! He has given me a life I never thought that I would have. Thank you! I Love my Don! ;)

Our wedding day.
Our Honeymoon! Don't we look so young? Okay, so we were!

BFF for life!

After Emily came to visit me at work I was reading through one of these quote/deep thinking books. I ran across this quote that made me think of her.

A Good Friend is a connection to life, a tie to the past, a road to the future, the key to sanity in a totally insane world.
-Lois Wyse

I am so happy to have Emily be my friend. She is amazing! Emily is always there when I need someone the most. I can be myself around her, and not feel embarassed. And I think that the greatest thing about her is that she doesn't mind taking MILLIONS of pictures with me. =) Even when we just sit in a cubicle all night we can find entertainment, and have FUN! I love her so much!

Sunday Strolls

Every night on the way home from work I admire the view that we have. I always want to pull off to take a picture, but don't dare to at night. Living in the middle of no where sometimes has it's advantages. Today when I was exercising I looked out, and realized it's just as beautiful during the day. I couldn't help but go get my camera, and take Savannah to see.

Who is 30??!!

Happy Birthday to Kyle! Can you believe that you are 30!!? Ancient I tell ya!

Thank you for being my brother and friend. You definitely are someone that I can always count on in a bind. You are always willing to get in and help where ever it is needed.

We miss you in Utah...who is going to be there to help us dig a pond, mow the lawn, pick up big stuff at Home Depot, install a light fixture, take a load to the dump, make Savannah wild and crazy so both of you annoy me, Monday night football, Wendover trips, and so many more things I can't think of right now! You have been there for my family, and I can't thank you enough! Savannah still is saying that her Uncle Kyle loves her the MOST! Somehow I think that you and Savannah were suppose to be related. Endless amounts of energy, entertaining, can make a friend at the gas station, and sensitive. I LOVE YOU, BRO!

It was a BLAST!

I take everything back about hating the wind. It was so much fun to fly the kite today as a family. It was a little cold, but the WIND was excellent! We had no problems getting the kite up and flyin'. As soon as we were done Savannah said "Momma can we do this again tomorrow?" It will be a great summer activity for us!

Windy West Jordan

The one thing that we have noticed since moving to West Jordan is that the wind is ALWAYS blowing. It is kind of annoying! How does the saying go "when given lemons make lemonade!" We finally bought a kite. We are determined to like the wind. =) I am hoping that I am more successful teaching Savannah to fly a kite than I was roller skating.

Shane's going away =(

We had a going away breakfast for Shane this morning (he is going to BYU, Idaho). We will truly miss having him around to babysit, locate, sleepovers, playing basketball, and to eat my extra food! =) We know that he isn't very far away, but we definitely won't be seeing him every couple of days. We love you Shaner!

True Colors

We are having the occasional warmer day here and there, and of course Savannah is a kid...SHE LOVES PLAYING OUTSIDE. Savannah's "true colors" come out when she is outside. She loves bugs, dirt, and water! I have the best of both worlds. Savannah will play in the dirt and be my "tom boy", and then come inside and want to play princess. Who needs a boy, just have Savannah! I had a project outside this morning, and here a few snap shots I took of her in her element.

Hannah, I mean Savannah!

I strongly dislike what I call "character clothes". Savannah has been begging for Hannah Montana shirts, pants, sweatshirts, etc. for months. I finally gave in. I bought her this jacket that was on the clearance rack, because it's going to be summer. I thought that we could maybe just use it for next fall, but with Utah's crazy weather it might be getting a lot more use than I thought. I drove home in a blizzard last night. What the heck I thought that it was Spring?!

Dinner Party!

There really is no way to describe how funny this all turned out. When I actually sat down to eat I couldn't stop laughing. Here are some photo's that I took.

Tam-I

Tami is one of the few RC Willey friends that has actually kept her word, and stayed in touch with me. She is so AWESOME! I can honestly say that she is true friend. I love her so much, and miss her...AND can I say I'm so jealous of her California tan. Tami will always come out of her way when she is in Utah to visit me. A friend that I can't afford to lose for sure!

Savannah + Grayson

Savannah has this special bond with Grayson. I don't know if Grayson has the same deep affection for Savannah that she does for him, but she truly loves him. If you are ever in the car with Savannah and go past a church, temple, or even something that is similar looking she will tell you the story. "I am going to marry Grayson there, and I am going to wear a pretty white dress." I would happily let Savannah marry in to the Woodward family. They truly are the nicest people. I am glad that we planned a playdate so that we could reconnect. I haven't "replaced" them in our new ward, and don't think it's possible. =) I'm jealous that in the time that we were both pregnant and had Savannah and Grayson, Amber has had 1 and 1/2 more children than me! They have an adorable little family.

"The Mommy's"
Doesn't she look awesome pregnant? I would kill to look like her!

This is Savannah being the little Mommy that she is to Alora (Grayson's little sister).

P.S. This morning when we were getting ready for them to come over Savannah was so funny. She put on lipstick, and said that Grayson would love it. She also kept asking me if she had messed up her hair, because she wanted to look perfect for her man!

iMagInATiOn!

I am so glad that Savannah has this wonderful imagination. She can make anything into something that it's not, and actually BELIEVE! The mind of a little child is a wonderful thing.
This is a piece to those wood puzzles. She sometimes will call him "Gary", because Spongebob has a pet snail named Gary. The other part of the time this is her make-up. She takes all the little pieces out of the puzzle, and every piece is a different eye shadow. Who would of thought huh?
This is a hammer to a Wack-A-Alien game we have. She of course uses this as a microphone.

This is a two part picture to really get the idea of it. She takes a Lego, and a piece of a number game and puts one inside the other. This becomes her babies bottle.

I know that this looks like an ordinary vacuum, but did you know this is a camera on an tripod? You know that little thing you hang the cord from? She looks into that, and says "Say Cheese!".

This one is pretty cute, it's not soap...it's "sunscream". Yup, SUNSCREAM!
I couldn't get the full effect of this one. She is actually swimming like Arial in the water. That is why both of them are wearing the mermaid outfits!

Park City

Who had a crazy idea of going to Park City without checking the weather before? Okay, so maybe it was me...but it is April. It was a complete blizzard, and fun! My Dad only brought sandals to Utah, and it was Shane's first time going. All in all we got the experience. Savannah had to wear the Little Mermaid wig all over town. I am sick again, YES I know will I ever be 100 %?! I am beginning to forget what a healthy Evonne was like. So, forgive the pictures that you have to endure of me. I do realize I don't look hot or anything.

This is just to show you how snowy it was.

Paul's brother Shane

I was a little embarassed to have her wearing this wig. She loved it, and Grandpa said YES!

This is in front of HarryO's (private club for members lol).

Family Photo's '08

Can I just say I feel so blessed! I love my little family! They make me happy, and make me smile. What else can I ask for?

"Rolling"

We decided to have a change of pace, and take Savannah "rolling" (aka Bowling). She was not all that interested. We could have left her in the arcade playing skee ball the whole time. We played 3 games. Paul won 1, Grandpa won 1, and I won 1. No braggin' rights this time. Paul and I decided we are going back soon. We definitely had a good time, and need more practice. =)

Savannah's 1st haircut

Savannah wanted to have her haircut like Snow White. I had no objection to having it done this way. We informed Daddy and Grandpa what we wanted, and they voted against us! Savannah ended up just having an inch or 2 taken off.
