Savannah's Weekend!

Gardner Village is a favorite for all. Savannah always has to have a pony ride,
and Mommy gets to shop!!
While we were out and about we ran into Ron (old family friend). It was suppose to be a surprise that Grandpa Frog was coming, but she spilled the beans!
Look at how big that bubble is!

Church Ball

Paul has started to go play church ball every week. With me working nights he has to take Savannah until I can come and pick her up. She absolutely loves going. She is a good little cheerleader. Paul says the whole time she is cheering him on with chants like "Go Daddy Go!". Last week when I went to pick her up I walked in to find her sitting on the chair like usual. When she noticed me she jumped off the chair and yelled "Okay boys, my Momma's here now! I'm going!". I thought it was adorable, and all the men got a little chuckle out of it.

Our Little Chef

Anyone who really knows anything about me will tell you I hate to cook! I am doing an experiment on Savannah. If I start early maybe she will like to cook, and then she will be able to cook delicious meals for me in my old age. =) The picture featured in this blog is Savannah cooking spaghetti for Daddy, Mommy, and Uncle Shane.

P.S. Thank you Grandma Boss for the apron! Even after a year it's still not getting old. =)

Favor!

So, the conversation with Savannah went like this.

Savannah: Momma will you do me a favor?

Mommy: Yeah, Savannah what did you need?

Savannah: Will you clean up my room for me?

Mommy: No way! You get to clean it up!

Savannah: But Momma that is what a favor is!

We ended up comprimising and cleaning it up together! =)

Easter is here, and gone already!

Here are some of the highlights of our Easter. It was pretty casual. I had to laugh at myself, because I have been so sick that Easter dinner was cheese, ham, crackers, chips, and french onion dip (the old Sell stand by).

This isn't the best picture of Savannah, but I love her hair blowing in the wind! She is beautiful. I can't imagine a more perfect little girl.

Note to Easter Bunny: Next year don't do as many eggs with candy in them. Savannah LOVED the presents in her basket. The watch and the princess bath stuff was a hit!

The most obvious eggs are always the hardest to find ;).

And it just wouldn't be a holiday without a "classic Paul smile"!

Mommy/Daughter Date!

After being sick all day Friday, and not being able to spend much quality time with Savannah I decided to take her on a date. It was very eventful. I should first say I wouldn't recommend skating the day after you have been under the weather. I think that Savannah and I made it around the skating rink a total of 4 times. Only one of those she was actually trying to skate...the other three she was in my arms. How do people make that look so easy? I was only 1/2 way around our first lap when I biffed it with Savannah in my arms. We both laughed, but it HURT! The highlights were definitely the rides and mini golf.

I love being her Mom, and although we try each other's patience she definitely is my pride and joy! It is great making lasting memories with her. She might not remember skating for the first time, but I'll never forget it!

It's a TEA PARTY!

Savannah's kind of Tea Party...
ironing board = table
dora blanket = table cloth
abc board game pieces = food
Eric = friend
changing dress in the middle = becoming the server

Our New Hobby!

Paul bought Savannah and I both jump ropes for fun. Man oh man do you get a work out jump roping! I would highly suggest if you want a good laugh (I mean workout), to get you one. I have started to get my grade school skillz back. =) I have even moved from doing it where no one can see me to outside.

Easter Is On It's Way!

The two things that Savannah looks forward to the most...getting her picture taken with the Easter Bunny, and Santa Claus! Last night when I took her (for the 2nd time) I asked if she wanted to stay with the Easter Bunny or go home with me, she chose the Easter Bunny.

The BEST pic's of the week!

Savannah learns to "wink"!

At first I couldn't figure out what she was doing, but then Savannah explained..."I shooting a web like Spiderman."

Going to play in the rain! Savannah has been begging to wear this jacket all winter! It finally rained so she could. She still insisted on wearing a dress, but I made her wear levi's under it! =)

It's not often you find Savannah sleeping, but she is definitely the cutest sleeping beauty I've seen!

After 6 months we finally got front room furniture! Yipee!

Have you seen this?

While working on Saturday night someone asked me if I have seen the show Jon & Kate plus 8. Have you? Just take a moment to watch at least one episode, and trust me you will appreciate your 1, 2, 3, or 4 children you have!! These people are amazing (and I'm sure have multiple nannies). They had twins, and tried for one more...and you guessed it, got 6 more! Can you even imagine having 6, two year olds!?!? I will not complain about my very boring, uneventful life again! Savannah is not the handfull that I thought ;).

In her words...Hot Mama!

As our good friend Grandpa Pearly says "We are gonna have to put bars up on her windows to keep the boys out!" Watch out world Savannah the heart breaker is 3 going on 16. =)

Remember When...?

The older Savannah becomes the more flash backs to my childhood I am having. Remember when you got those really cool prizes in boxes of cereal? You would pretty much just pick the box of cereal with the best prize, even if you didn't like the cereal!! Not only that, but you couldn't even think of another thing when you got home from the grocery store, but opening up that box and digging to the bottom to get it out. I am reliving it with Savannah, and I do have to say it is still fun 20 years later!

This particular box of cereal just happen to have the coolest Hot Wheels watch in it. We might be eating Smacks for a couple of weeks to get the Barbie one we REALLY desired!! =)

"All Hail Plankton"

Planktonspongebob

If you have seen SpongeBob the movie this will be funny. Savannah comes into the bathroom wearing her Uncle Kyle's Harley Davidson hat. It is obviously way too big for her so it covers her eyes. She has her hands outstretched in front of her, and she is yelling "All Hail Plankton".

And then there was SUNSHINE!

We finally have a week of SUNSHINE, and warmer temperatures (in the 40's). So, I have this brilliant idea that it's warm enough to go to the park!! Not a good idea! Of course Savannah's little nose was red and her little chin was quivering within seconds of being there. She still didn't want to leave, and I literally had to bribe her with a toy from Target to get her to go. We are "thinking spring" for Savannah's sake. We are done being stuck in the house!
