After being sick all day Friday, and not being able to spend much quality time with Savannah I decided to take her on a date. It was very eventful. I should first say I wouldn't recommend skating the day after you have been under the weather. I think that Savannah and I made it around the skating rink a total of 4 times. Only one of those she was actually trying to skate...the other three she was in my arms. How do people make that look so easy? I was only 1/2 way around our first lap when I biffed it with Savannah in my arms. We both laughed, but it HURT! The highlights were definitely the rides and mini golf. I love being her Mom, and although we try each other's patience she definitely is my pride and joy! It is great making lasting memories with her. She might not remember skating for the first time, but I'll never forget it!

Okay, so I know it wasn't her birthday but Grayson thinks it is for some reason. He loved seeing pictures of Savannah (especially of her golfing.) Match made in heaven!
