Pouring.

Holy Cow...it is pouring rain right now. Savannah wants to go outside and play in it
(NO WAY!). On Thursday I should have been thankful for my house...protection, safety, and the perfect temperature. =)

Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner!!!

I finally got it to upload...here is what I WON!!
inevergrewup.net ROCKS!!
Is this not the cutest apron? And it will say Savannah's name in a cute font across the top. I'm really so in love. =)

Wishful Wednesday.

I am totally stealing Alicia's idea (thanks girly).

I thought that I could balance myself out...wish for something on Wednesday, and be thankful for something that I already have on Thursday. Honestly, I have a huge wish list! It is as hard to come up with just one thing to wish for, as it is to be thankful for just one thing.

My Wish...
Endless Disney scrapbooking supplies!!!

Paul and I have been "trying" to work on our Disney vacation scrap book. Do you know how hard Mulan stuff is to come by?? Cinderella, Snow White, and even Aurora were easy...and had a wide variety. Why are they hatin' on Mulan?! Wish us luck. Finished product should be good. =)

Car Seat Converted Into A Banana Seat...

I finally figured out why I saved Savannah's infant car seat. It definitely wasn't to have another baby. =) She will watch TV in it for hours, and drags it from room to room with her baby dolls in it. Who needs toys, right!?

Last Minute Plans AGAIN.

Paul and I really are not spur of the moment kind of people, until lately. After a rough Friday night...We were off again for another get-a-way! Jill and Vince AGAIN were there to save the day (thanks!!). At Midnight Saturday morning I found myself on the phone making reservations for the Hampton Inn. I wanted the place we stayed to be a little better than last weekend. ;) For $109 it was A MILLION times better, and they had customer service to go along with it. I thought last weekend was amazing, but this one definitely topped it. I knew I was going to be one happy girl when I walked in to the room, AND saw a HUGE bath tub with a TV above it. SWEET!! Unfortunately, we won't be able to do this every weekend , (tear) BUT it has saved US!! It is amazing what a little TLC will do.

Congrats!!

Baby Aiden is here!
Congrats to the Woodwards...
He is ADORABLE!

The night we won't forget!

As I mentioned before we left Savannah unexpectedly with Jill and Vince. Paul had made quick plans in his head. He told me to shower, pack, and we were on our way. We stopped at the mall for a few essentials to make a romantic night, hit Em's birthday party, and we were headed to Nevada! The drive went by SO quickly...we talked, and talked, and reconnected. One word to explain this whole weekend...AMAZING!
Our trip was filled with adventure and bad fortune. That was to be expected, because after all Paul and I have the WORST luck. =) While driving in to Wendover...I actually hit and killed a black cat successfully before even really getting settled. We just laughed. We searched far and wide for a hotel room...who knew it was Speed Week?? We drove around, and felt lucky to get a room for $150 at the Econo Lodge...smoking (check), scary (double check), stone mattress (triple check), and who knows what diseases we got. =) It didn't matter...we were together, and ALONE! Yyyeeaahh!!This weekend I remembered why we got married, why I'm still in love, why he is my best friend, and why I want to be with him for eternity. Paul cares about making me happy. Paul loves me. Paul wants to be with me, and I WANT to be with him.

Party ON.

After going to Emily's birthday party I realized why I need a Mom in Utah!! Holy smokes do I miss someone that will cook for me. Joyce had these amazing baked beans (Have I ever mentioned my love for beans?), awesome pasta salad, and let's not forget the fruit salad. All to die for. Send me all the recipes, Joyce. =) Paul was SUPER embarrassed when I decided to not only jump on the trampoline, but do a flip. I didn't land it, but I still can make it over to land on my bum. I was so glad that I was able to go, and CELEBRATE!!

Let's start at the very beginning...

A very good place to start. =) Saturday Paul and I invited Jill and Vince to our house. I got motivated and cooked something good for lunch...complete with personal meat loaf's and twice baked potatoes. Delicious. Jill and I ventured into an easy dessert I have never personally made, but love to eat...Fruit Pizza. We didn't fail, and it turned out just as good as April's does. Yeah for Evonne and Jill! We all went to Batman after we made Vince slave away in our half way finished bathroom (pictures still to come on that). Savannah didn't do as well this time in Batman. She was hoping for the end to come about 45 minutes in to it, but with a tub of popcorn, soda, and a nap she was good to go.
Paul surprised me by asking Jill and Vince to take Savannah for the night. Why haven't we done this before?? I love my little Savannah, but boy did I find out that I LOVE being alone with my hubby...this requires a whole other post. =)

Recipe for Fruit Pizza...

tube of pre-made sugar cookie dough (crust)

Icing...
cream cheese
1/4 cup of powder sugar
2 tablespoons milk

LOTS and LOTS of delicious fresh fruit

(This is not our pizza...of course our's looked way better)

Happy Birthday!

I knew I was really in LOVE with Emily the day I found out her birthday was August 15th. =) I knew that she was more than just a work friend, and was meant to be one of my closest confidants. We have been through so much together in just a few short years. I cried uncontrollably her last day at Willey's (thanks for the memories hoe). I thought that I might never see her again, but she REALLY was my friend...and proved it! She was my 1st Willey friend to keep in touch after quitting. We have laughed, cried, and gotten in that one really big fight that neither of us can remember what it was about. =) I am LUCKY to call her my BFF.

Happy Birthday Em! I wouldn't know what I would do without that 1 girly friend that I can always count on. You have baby sat for me, shopped for me, bought me endless amounts of food, and let me be MYSELF!

i LoVE yOu!!!!!

Here's to Thursdays!

I'm thankful for the dolla, dolla bill yo!!
Cold hard cash.
Dinero!
Mullah.
The green stuff!!
Dough.
Loot.
$$$
Call me selfish, call me crazy, call me whatever you like! I love it. It makes me happy. Makes my life easier. It doesn't mean that I would sell my body for it, but I came pretty darn close by pimpin' my plasma for 3 years straight...two times a week. =) I used the excuse that it saved people's lives, but really I just loved seeing the $$. Judge me, but keep it to yourself. I'm in my happy place.

too much info

My nickname: Most of you know Evonce, but I also go by Von, De, and Levon Lovin' =)
My most embarrassing picture: This is my Mom...we are at some church function. She has this brilliant idea to hold me for the picture. Um yeah, she forgets I'm chubby, and she has no muscles. =) Almost drops me on my butt...in front of everyone. Oh, and they snapped a picture in the process. But look at those cool shorts (they were Girbaud (sp)), and HUGE glasses!
My baby photo:
Last friend I saw: Last night at work I saw...Chris & Landon.
Prize possesion: All my scrap book stuff!!Favorite room in the house: My kitchen...not for the right reasons either. I hate to cook, but I love all the home improvements we have done. No picture required. I think you have seen enough pictures of my house. lol
Last book I read: Still reading Breaking Dawn. Need I say more.

Last thing that I bought: Callee...we really are too much alike. I bought a coke too! =)
My most expensive purchase in the last year: Besides my house, I would have to say it was the fence. Those darn vinyl fences are expensive.

My favorite restaurant: El Paisa Grill...ghetto, but dang good!

Kind Of Wordless Wednesday

We have started to discuss Savannah's costume already! Clown it is (for right now)! Fun huh? My favorite holiday has to be Halloween. Not just because it's Paul and Savannah's birthday either. My favorite color is orange! All month I wear orange, and no one teases me about going hunting. =) I am so excited!

big city girl.

After talking to my friend Landon about his trip to New York (so jealous of him)...man do I need a vacation to a BIG city! I don't care what big city, just something bigger than Salt Lake. I require my big city experience to be filled with freaks so that I can blend in, and LOTS of deliciously overpriced food. Where should I go?
