yup.

I wondered if it would happen.
It did.
I miss blogging.
I miss you guys.
I am starting to feel like myself.
Although my muffin top is a little bigger than before Vin. ;)
Can you believe that come Wednesday...
I have already been off work for 4 weeks.
Tear.
Why does it go by so fast when you don't want it to?
Boo.
So, it's been so long...what should we talk about?
Is all the baby talk getting old yet?
We can discuss my messy house,
or that I am really excited to have a new gas station being built in my neighborhood...like walking distance.
Giddy.
You decide. I'm game to talk about whatev. You let me know.

when should you start poppin' the collar?

We start early at the Sell home...3 weeks old seemed appropriate.
I'm totally joking, the collar on this shirt just doesn't stay down.
Maybe because of Vin's double chin...I dunno.
Oh, and he is also sleeping in these pictures. I have a post coming about that. =)

seventh generation review.

We all know that I am a sucker for cleaning supplies. I am pretty sure that is what made me and Kamie friends. Right, Kamie? I love trying new products, and I could spend the majority of my time in the cleaning supply isle while grocery shopping. When My Blog Spark contacted me about trying Seventh Generation cleaning supplies, I was overjoyed.

I am not much of a organic/all natural/save the planet kinda gal. There is nothing wrong with it, I just don't have it on my priority list. Seventh Generation products are non-toxic and safe for the environment which is super coolio. They clean well, but I am going to be honest...I did not like the smell at all. I even had multiple people smell it, and I found 1 person out of lots that liked it. I definitely want to try some of the other smells, like one of the citrus scents, but I was not a fan of the lemon grass scent.

I didn't think that I would like the paper towels, but I would buy again them again. fo. sho.

Have you tried Seventh Generation products? What would you recommend to me as a newbie user?

Be prepared to be impressed...
while on maternity leave, I have been cooking.
AANNDD the dishes get done afterward too.
Okay, you can pick your chin up off your desk now!
To show you what an easy going babe I have, and I have skillz in the kitchen...
proof right here...
need a closer look at that cute face...He will sleep anywhere, and is okay with it.
Although he still has his days and nights kinda mixed up.

Who is already placing bets on how long this cookin' business lasts!? LOL.

the deets.

I was good at keeping track of everything while in labor...that was until things went horrid!! Here is the juicy details of the day Vin was born.
BFF and I arrived at the hospital at 6:30 AM
We giggled.
We "tried" to watch a movie.
We listened to music.
BFF took me on a ride in a wheel chair.
We waited for the nurses to get their act together, and start the pitocin.
What a waste of 2 plus hours before they finally decided they had time to do it.

9:20 dilated to a 4.
Dr. came in and "tried to break my water".
I also called Paul to come to the hospital at this point.
11:15 dilated to a 6.
Epidural is put in.
Paul was brave and held my hand during it. I love him more because he did that!

12:50 dilated to a 7.
AND the rest is painful and foggy.

I started not feeling right. I started to feel labor. I kept telling the nurses, but no one was listening. It went on for more than an hour. I was acting crazy, my poor husband. It was intense. I was in so much pain, I almost passed out. I finally told Paul that I was just going to start pushing, and Paul not knowing better told me to. The nurses must have been listening to us "plotting"...because just as the words left his mouth of "go ahead"...nurses came running in screaming "Don't PUSH!" It ended up being what finally got me help, and they finally started to listen.
My epidural got a kink in it, and you know what that means? No meds going in. I was given options, I chose all of the "easier" options, and finally they had to give me another epidural. It was hard. I cried. a. lot.

After all of this.
I delivered Vin at 4:00 PM on the dot.

10 pushes in 4 contractions.

He is worth all of it, but I'm not sure I will ever forget how hard this pregnancy all the way to delivery was.
