it feels good.

I had one of those amazingly awesome weekends. The kind of weekend that you catch yourself looking at all that you have, and wonder how you got so lucky. There were so many moments that I sat and watched Paul and Van and felt Vin moving crazily in my stomach, and I couldn't help but feel complete.

Often times I find myself having pitty parties. Ya know the kind where you think I wish this person would be my friend, I wonder why they don't like me, or where did I go wrong...yada, yada, yada! This weekend more than ever I realized all of that doesn't matter now or ever. What matters is my little family.
I took Van on a date Saturday morning, just the two of us. We went and chased Snowball the Cat at Gardner Village, and ended up at the bakery. Paul and I took Van miniature golfing, and played all the video games her little heart could stand. I'm pretty sure we stopped at the gas station 3 times for treats. I let Van stay up a little later than normal. I let the house cleaning slip (once again). We danced in the kitchen while our dinner was cooking. Paul and I took a long nap together, and Van watched that same movie too many times to count.

Although we didn't travel to some tropical resort, we didn't spend lots of money, and we didn't even take a day off from vending...we were a family...and that is what makes my weekends so amazingly awesome!

Snowball gets tracked down by my poor girls every time we go.

Is snowball a cat that roams around Gardner Village? Or what? Sounds like such a fun weekend!

I love those great weekends. Where you just focus on the ones you love and have a great time. It seems like I don't take the time to do that enough. Great reminder.
