I guess I didn't realize I would have to pay for the school pictures before they are taken.
Why I didn't remember that, I dunno. Maybe because I didn't have to worry about coming up with the money.
So, just in case the pictures don't turn out...I took a bunch of Van before I dropped her off at school.

We seem to miss most of the school pictures for some reason. I have decided now on just to order the cheapest set with a class photo..thats all I care about.. when they have gotten them they usually aren't the best either.
We get family pics every year (except this year, only because we didn't get my stepdaughter) and I have them also take individuals and give them out to family instead. They are so much more worth it in my opinion.
I love the way Angie did my kids this year! (but wish they all had them done) Can't wait to see how yours turn out! When do you have your session????

School pictures are such a racket. Whoever that Lifetouch guy is, he is a gazillionaire.
Every year I say I'm not getting sucked in. But, I have to fill my 8X10 frame on the mantle w/pics.
And you can't just buy one 8X10, you have to have 2X3's and wallets and stupid black & white and all that other crap.
I should start my own school picture business.

She is super, super cute! And yes, we have to buy those pics every year, but I just do the cheapest package. And THIS year we had to buy the class photo too. I absolutely hate Lifetouch. Lauren's photo this year was cropped way off center. Half her shoulder is missing! I found out FotoFly has another business (Capture Studio) and they do school pictures...for a lot cheaper and a lot better. Hoping our school will change!
Woo hoo! And you know most of the time when I get the ""professional"" pictures back I am always say dang it my snapshots were one billio ntimes cuter!!
Again, blue and green, can't go wrong with em' I tell ya!! Plus she is SO stinking cute that she could be wearing the ugliest thing and still make it work! ;) but you're way too cool to do that to your child.
So it miffs me that you have to pay for pictures before you get them, William's pictures are NOT good so he has re-takes on Thursday and if they don't turn out then we get a refund, but last year had I gotten Matty's before I ordered I would of ordered more because they turned out so good!
I LOVE HER HAIR!! You are surely going to have to teach me how you do Van's hair before my Lila finally decides to grow some hair, or I'm in trouble! LOL
I ended up buying the smallest package of school pics because I was worried they wouldn't turn out good. There's something about having to stand in a long line at school nervous about having to make a 2 second knock-out good smile that screams "lousy" pictures!! We just got them last week. Nothing fabulous---so I'm happy with my decision. Hahaha! I'm for sure hittin up the Fotofly though, looks awesome!
