only the cereal with the toys, please.
A couple of weeks ago I was trying to figure out why I wasn't able to load some pictures on Devin's private blog. After not being able to figure it out, you can only guess I got waaaay sidetracked. I spent the next several hours just looking at all of my very old posts, and was in shock that Savannah looked so darn young when I started doing this writing gig.
I came to this post, and I just started laughing. I had just said yes to a review and giveaway from MyBlogSpark that is all about the cool prize inside the cereal box. Those darn prizes in cereal boxes make any cereal edible. Although they sent us a box of Lucky Charms, which I ate the entire box by myself within days. Ask Paul, I have the biggest bowls of cereal EVER!
Please tell me that I am not the only adult that stills gets excited over the cereal box toys? I guess I am okay with it if I am alone in this, because I have loved using our curvy straws the past week. :) I guess I haven't changed that much since 2008.

I do!!! There's always a bit of a struggle about who gets to play with it first. I always use the excuse that I have to figure out how it works before my girls can play with it!! :)
I've got to be honest, I have never purchased cereal with a toy in it....not that I haven't wanted to, but I can't bring myself to spend the extra $ on the fancy cereals. That being said, I think my kids would die and go to heaven if they got cereal with a toy in it.
Oh I LOVE when there are toys in the box! The suspense just kills me. I'm the one that opens the box and shakes the cereal until I can get the toy out. And curvy straws are right up my alley. I love crazy straws!

Whole Foods is boring and never adds fun stuff to their cereal :(
We buy the wrong kind of cereal because we never get cereal box toys. Sad day. I suppose I should branch out in my cereal eating. :)
There are times I have picked up a cereal just because of the prize in there-we are partial to cars-but those straws would be so much fun.
I don't get excited over the toys in the cereal boxes- my daughter took my place but oh...don't let them be coupons inside. I get excited over those!
I love cereal box prizes. It seems like companies don't put them in as much any more. Beth loves silly straws. I'm always throwing them away without her knowing so at the present time she would love a new one.
