goals

I can tell I have had an off couple of days.

I read all these people making goals for 2011, and I get inspired.

Then I think about my goals, and I think...well I never keep them...why make 'em.

Although I did keep all of my goals I set for 2010, I didn't aim high.

I make lots of excuses why I shouldn't start exercising. My latest excuse...it is too cold to ride my bike.

I make lots of excuses why I can't keep my house clean. My latest excuse...I don't have time (I do however have time to play hours of Webkinz).

So, I am going to carry over my theme from last year...Expect Miracles...and I am going to add Believe and Expect Miracles.

If I believe in miracles, I will lose weight.

If I believe in miracles, I will cook more.

If I believe in miracles, I will keep a cleaner house.

If I expect miracles, I will be a stay at home Mom this year.

If none of this happens in 2011...I will make it through, and it will be a miracle!
Post Edit: I just wanted to add to the goals of this year...be creative! My first projects are looking fabulous, and I can't wait to share.

I think these are very sensible.

Oh I believe!!! You should get the saying "Everyday holds the possibility of a Miracle" and put it somewhere that you can see it, someone gave it to us when Matty was in the NICU.

good job!
but i don't think keeping the house cleaner should be one. i think it takes time away from the fam...so you can cross that one out :) or wait...is that an excuse i use not to do it?? lol.

Good resolutions/miracles :). I have none so far, so you are doing fabulous. I love that picture of you, btw.

Come ride the Utah Tour de Donut with us!!! It would give you a good excuse to ride your bike (when it gets warmer) :) Love that picture of you!

It IS too cold to ride your bike. That's a very good excuse. You would end up frozen to your bike and that would just be awkward. I've turned into a mall walker because it's the only warm place to walk. Yup, I'm proudly joining the senior citizens each morning.

I have not made my goals yet. I have ideas, but I guess I am in denial and figure if I don't write them down I can't break them. I guess I will get on the ball and figure them out and choose a few.
