I was craving what we call around these parts Christmas Corn Pops! Savannah isn't a huge fan, but Devin and I can pound this stuff down. We mixed up a small batch, and then got in bed for a chick flick. I woke up sometime around Midnight, curled up next to my big girl...who was snoozing too. It was a perfect night.
After I posted a picture of our corn pops on Instagram, I had a few people ask for the recipe. I have no idea who to give credit to for the recipe, besides the girl that I use to work with. :) I don't cook, so you won't be getting a play-by-play in pictures...it just ain't my thang!
Christmas Corn Pops Recipe
{PHOTOBOMB}
1 bag of corn pops...not the cereal people! You can find the kind of corn pops I am talking about down the chip isle.
You want to warm up the corn pops in the oven at 250 degrees while you are making the sauce for them. I use a big roasting pan, works perfectly.
1 1/2 Cups Butter
1 1/2 Cups White Sugar
6 Tablespoons Water
6 Tablespoons Karo Syrup
Mix together in a saucepan until it is at the "soft-ball stage".
Poor over warm pops, stir, and then spread out on a wax paper to cool.
Enjoy friends, and don't blame me for any weight gain. :)
We barely can wait for it to cool before we start eating. I think I love it more than caramel corn.

Ohh, that sounds so yummy! I will definitely have to try it.
Sounds sinfully delicious!
These sound totally decadent and perfect for movie night!
These are way too good. I have to use a lot of self- discipline not to eat the entire batch.
I think I first learned of these at RCW
Christmas Corn Pops remind me of my childhood. Love, love, love them! yum!
