Even though she was sick she still managed to go on her treasure hunt, and find lots of fun goodies to fill her basket. Her last clue sent her to the garage to find her new bike. The Easter Bunny managed to pick the wrong one, but she was still happy. =)

easter morning.
The Easter Bunny left an empty basket in Van's room with a note. Paul and I anxiously awaited for Van to wake up. We were sitting in our room, when I hear her bedroom door slam. I go knock "Van, did the Easter Bunny come?" I got an angry response of, "you guys are being too loud, and waking me up!" Someone had definitely woke up on the WRONG side of the bed. I start to walk away when the door cracks open. I see Van with a sad face...she says "okay, Mom I'll tell you the truth, I pooped my pants!" Poor thing had been too embarrassed to come out of her room to tell us, and was trying to hide it. Van was a sick girly girl. But a girl has got to go to church for at least an hour to show off the Easter dress, right?

Poor thing.=( Her dress sure was cute though and I am sure she will come to love the bike more and more.
Oh, I hope she is feeling better now. Sick kids are the hardest.
Andy pooped his pants today too, it must be going around or something!! He was embarassed too and comes into the living room walking all funny and says, "Mom, I had a wet fart!"
A wet fart? He acted like it was a normal occurance or something.
