Driving in the car a month or so ago she said "Mom, I want vangs." Um, what are VANGS!? She got so irritated while she explained what BANGS were.
I didn't correct her, because well...it's funny. I like to hear her say "Mom..I want the vangs that swoop over my one eye!"
I told her I had to consult the higher authorities about her vangs, before I would do it. (This is to be read, Auntie Jill...do you think Van would look good with vangs, and can you teach me how to do them?)
I hoped she would forget.
Yesterday Paul called me "Um, vangs are bangs...right Mommy?" Yes Paul they are...why? "I TOLD YOU VAN!" is all I heard, and then sobbing from Van. Van was telling Paul how they were not bangs they are vangs, and Van hates to be proved wrong.
We have all made up, and have come to an agreement...Van will be getting VANGS in the summer so I don't have to worry about doing them. =)

Vangs! Too cute! There is stuff Punk says that I don't correct either because it's funny. Like, instead of the hiccups she gets the hook-ups; that's freaking hilarious.
Vangs, hilarious!! I've always had vangs, and still do. Two things, flat iron and a round brush. That's all you need to have to make vangs cute.

lol! Silly girl-We have done bangs(don't let her see;))a couple of times on my daughters hair and we have regretted it each time but hopefully she/you will love'em!

I gave into my 8 & 6 year old to get them, and I hate them....I know strong word right? Well I try the swoop thing, but they are little girls and they play, needless to say the swoop isn't a swoop after like ten minutes, it is a barrier of hair that they try to peek through. I am sure your cute girlie will look adorable, but I think she looks beautiful with her hair back. Sorry so long, but I totally wish I wouldn't have cut their bangs.
