Reader!

Why didn't anyone inform me until yesterday about google.com/reader? One word...SWEET! I love this feature, and will be FOREVER changed because of it!! =)
Does anyone else have any blogging secrets that they are keeping from me? Do tell! I can't say I have an addiction to something, and not even know about google reader! What kind of blogger am I?!

I am a bit behind the times on things about blogs, but I heard about this place that will print off your blog for you and make it into a scrapbook thingy. It is called www.blurb.com

Oh, WOW! That is a cool website! Fairly inexpensive for a book too. I might just invest in that when I get 440 pages of crap! Fun stuff...thanks for the info!

I made mine into a book from Blurb and just got it in the mail yesterday. I LOVE IT! It's 126 pages, it's awesome! They have all sorts of scrapbook backgrounds for your pages too. Now I have this permanent book of all my memories and pictures for my kids. Even Mark was impressed!! The only problem I ever had with it was sometimes I had to upload the pictures directly from my computer rather than from the blog because since the pictures were smaller in the blog, they were blurry when I put them in big picture slots. Not really a big deal though.

You should totally do it!

I wish I had blogging secrets, but I get what I know from you :) Where do you get your cute backgrounds from? I know you can get some from outside sites, but where? And how do you put them on the blog?

I wondered about the backgrounds too. I only know about Pyzam, but they aren't nearly as cute as yours.

Well, ladies...about the backgrounds...if you look at "my shout out links" the 3 top links are cute layout sites I found! As I find them that is where they will be. Since I realized I was completely addicted to this I have come accross a lot more of them. =) Each link has a little bit different instruction on how to do it, but it walks you through it step by step. Honestly if I can figure it out, you definitely can. I only know how to use a computer to type.

I'm glad that someone did the book, and it turned out cool. I think that I might just have to do that too. Maybe for my Christmas present to myself.

When I find out a blogging secret then I will not hold out on those who count on me for this information. lol =)

Not completely blog related, but do you use Snapfish.com or Shutterfly.com? When you mentioned making your Disneyland trip into a book, I thought about the photobooks from those companies, because they are probably less expensive and you can still add text to them. I have made several of those for Mother's Day and Christmas presents for family and they are great.

Thank you, thank you for the background sites. I couldn't find any and it was driving me crazy!!!

Hi Evonne!!! How did you find us? I'm SO happy that you did!! No Andrew doesn't work at HD anymore, are you still at RC?? Yes we are still in SP. Andrew now works at a company called Hexcel right off 5400 S and Bacchus Highway. Its crazy hours but good pay and benefits. I now work for JetBlue from home and I love it 90% of the time and wish we could use our flight benefits more often!
Your blog is SO cute and I guess I'm slow but what is Reader?? Also I've tried to change my blog and every time I do it messes all my elements up?!? Savannah is Beautiful!! Are you planning on any more? Matthew is 2 and I was on bed rest for 8 weeks with him and he spent 3 weeks in the NICU so we won't be having another one for at least another year when Matthew is in pre-school and potty trained! We should try to catch up sometime!
