When I was sitting at the SeaTac Airport waiting to board there was a couple in there mid 30's waiting with me. I wasn't paying much attention to them until they were making out. I am not talking a little smooch, I am talking the kind of make out session you have in Jr High to get attention from your peers. This couple carried on for oh about 5 minutes. I couldn't help but stare. Maybe I could understand if they were leaving each other, but they merrily hopped on the plane together...I wondered if they joined the Mile High Club on that flight.
So fill me in.
How much is too much? Where do you draw the line?
When do you think it becomes tacky or maybe I am the only one?
Maybe I should have a good make out session in the mall to see what I am missing.

I think that making out in public is disgusting. I don't want to watch people gag each other. I don't mind if people have a small kiss, but not full blown tongue in each others mouth. I think that it is disrespectful to the people around you!

I don't mind hand holding, or a little smooch on the cheek or mouth. If I can see tongue, it's definitely too much.
Yuck. And I am pretty liberal on the PDA issue. Making out should be enjoyed in private only. Hug, hold hands, kiss a little here and there...but I agree with Kristina. Keep your tongue in your own mouth if other people are around!
for me? pretty much what I will do in church, I will do outside of church. That is as much PDA as I can handle. You won't catch me gettin' any tongue action in the 5th pew.

I'm all for romance but I think holding hands, or putting your arm around a shoulder will do JUST fine for out in public or at family events.

making out in public is just yuck. a little kiss, hand holding- little things... no problem. Any kiss longer 3 seconds- save it for your own home.
A hug, holding hands, a cuddle at the movie, and an occasional peck. Thats it for me.

Saw two guys in the back of the plane doing way more than cuddling. Grossed everyone out, including my boys. Hand holding, hugging, a quick kiss is fine, but any more than that ~ they should get a room!
Yep, it's awkward for everyone around you. If you really cannot wait, head to the bathroom or a closet or something :). No one else needs to see it.
