waiting.

I have never waited to go into labor.

I have always been started at exactly 39 weeks, and I was okay with this decision when I made it.

This time we are waiting. I am 39 weeks 5 days, and this is officially the longest I have ever been pregnant...and no end is in sight.

It is has been kind of exciting wondering every day if she was going to make her grand appearance, going to bed wondering if I was going to make it another night of sleep. If I tell Savannah before bed that it might be the night Bri comes...she quickly falls asleep, and most mornings wakes up disappointed.

Having your body prepare for labor is not glamorous, but boy is it interesting...and kind of amazing what the body does.

She will be worth the wait.
She will be beautiful.
She will come when she is ready.
I do know all of this.
