for better or worse

Emily and I have been through a rebellious stage, depression, moves, a divorce, a pregnancy and delivery, job changes, and most recently her weight loss and my weight gain...and guess what? We did it all together.

I laugh now when I think of BFF's last day at The Dub. I was bawling like a baby telling her I would never see her again, just like all the other coworkers who had quit and promised to stay in touch. I should have believed her, because she has never let me down.Words are not adequate to describe how I feel about Emily. She has been the listening ear, the babysitter in a pinch, the 3rd wheel on dates with Paul and I, the shoulder to cry on, my pig out partner, and I couldn't ask for anything more. Lets not even mention all that she has done for Paul, and my children...honestly this post would never end.
I am so proud of what Emily has accomplished, and how much she has grown as a person. 71.4 pound weight loss, and a temple marriage...all in one year is mighty successful, if I do say so myself.

As I sat in the Seattle Temple waiting in the sealing room with mostly strangers to watch my Bestie marry her Man, TEARS...lots of them.We made it girl...my sister wife, my BFF, my Parry, and now my Woods! Thank you for inspiring me. Thank you for making me a better person. Thank you for loving me, and thank you for being a woman of your word. Nathan is a lucky man.

Everyone needs a Parry-Woods in their life! I am glad I have one!

Loved this post. I have a bestie that I endearingly call my Sisterwife. And, I laughed when you called your friend that. My friend Susie, is definitely that to me. Women need friends.... husbands are great. But, friends fill in the gaps. And, I would die without my sistas! :) Here's a cheer to our galpals that make life wonderful!

Ok... totally cried through this! Thank you so much for enduring the horrid plane ride, the bird pooping on your head to be here with me. I hope the miles will never come between our friendship. I would do anything for you and I'm not sure where I would be without you! I will always be here to wipe the shit out of your hair!
