on the count down...

Vin turns ONE in a month. Are you as shocked as I was when I figured it out? Where did the year go? Where did my little baby go, and who replaced him with Mr. Independent?
The ideas have been brewing as to what to buy him for his first birthday. To be honest, I can't even tell you what I bought Van...maybe I didn't buy anything...because everyone else bought something. Vin got lots of presents from Santa just a couple of months ago, and he likes the DVD player, remotes, cell phones, and anything else he shouldn't touch A. LOT. MORE. So, what do I get him?
I thought about buying one of those wooden swing sets. Maybe it won't be something that he will pay with right now, but it will be a good investment for the many years in the future that it will go to good use. Plus...Van can use it.
My other ideas...
trampoline.
sit on scooter.
or I could just add to his ever growing collection of toys...that he doesn't play with.

I would say a swing set, just get a baby swing so you feel like it's for Vin, in fact I think that's a perfect thing to get a one year old who has older siblings....

I also like the idea of a swing set. Seems like a good investment.

It seems like only yesterday Steph and I were visiting you and having lunch with that new little baby. I can't believe how quickly he's grown! I'm with Tiffany and the swing set idea. We have a baby swing on ours and both George and Livi loved it!

How is it that old? Tell him to stop growing.

I think you should get one of the driver's at work to save you one of those REALLY BIG BOXES from the appliances they deliver. My kids never played with the toys either, but the big boxes occupy them for days (or however long they last)making them into a tunnel or a boat to sit it.

I like the swing set idea too! I totally have my eye on one this year too, and it's the perfect time to buy one off KSL.
