Yup, we made it to the half way mark! Pretty exciting if I do say so myself. This week I received news that I worried over, but realize there is nothing that I can do about it...and Paul in his wisdom told me to stop worrying over the possibilities. The Dr. will do another ultrasound to check on Vin's heart in 4 weeks. We will also have yet another ultrasound after that to check on my "other problem" that might cause me to have a c-section this go around. I'm not thrilled about this idea, but I also don't want to put Vin in any kind of jeopardy. I will hope that things fix themselves, which seems to be a possibility still.
So, what do you do when you have stress or worry? SHOP! While Van and I shopped for new attire for family pictures today...we couldn't help ourselves at Target. Oh yes, Vin will be dressed in elephants, cars, and bugs...and all sorts of colorful stuff! I might be getting a little excited over all the orange that he will be wearing! =)

I'm glad I am not the only one with a thing for orange! I swear like half of my little guys clothes are various shades of orange.
Also, I had to have a C-section. I was so scared when I found out, but it turned out not to be that bad. I hope everything will be ok with his little heart!
so glad you're half way there!! And those pajamas are so darn cute! However, I have to admit, I don't own a *single* item of orange clothing... but would you believe that HALF my closet is all pink?! lol...
As for the C-section, my cousin had 2, and said the second time was easier because it was planned ahead of time, whereas the first was an emergency one after being in labor all day... so from what I hear, if you know going into it that that's what's going to happen, it's not too bad... good luck!! I can't wait for this little one to get here!!
It's all downhill from here! :) He' going to look so cute in orange! :)
LOVE the baby clothes.
And 20 weeks is awesome. Seriously. And Paul is right... worrying about what "might" happen only puts stress on you and the little guy.
So cute! Boy colors are fun, if you give them a chance. It's hard after girl stuff :). I was always scared of C-sections, but most people I know who have had planned C-sections say they were JUST fine!
Congrats. Don't stress about the c-section either. My little girl wouldn't come on her own for anything so I ended up having one and I was back at work 3 weeks later. I don't recommend that though next time I am gonna milk it for all its worth.
Congrats on the 20 weeks!! I hope baby Vin lets you feel better now. And way cute stuff over at Target! Now I have to go buy some sleep outfits for my baby nephew. :)
Super cute onesie!
Here's hoping and praying that everything works itself out with your pregnancy :)
I've had two c-sections!! I think they are great, no labor, just show up and a few hours later you are done!! I also recovered really easily too.... CUTE jams!! I love orange too! Looks like its a common thing for mommas with boys ;-). Don't stress! Just think of how blessed we are to live in a time where technology can do pretty much anything to keep our little kiddos healthy! You will continue to be in my prayers... ((hugs))
Yay for 20 weeks!! Of course you got a bunch of orange. :) Orange is the awesomest color for a boy. Seriously, if I ever have a boy he will only have orange. Okay, maybe some blue, but 99% orange. I'm still sending good thoughts to you and Vin!
I totally wore orange today! I absolutely LOVE orange! ANd I LOVE that cute outfit.
I totally shop when I am stressed, worried, depressed. :)
Loves you!
