Cherish Bound & Timpanogos Story Telling Festival

When I got invited to this event, I had no idea what I was even signing up for. I thought that if nothing else it will be a fun night with the girls. After 2 hours I was pumped up to spread the word about all the fun that I had. =)

This event was held at the Orem City Library, and I followed the smell of Blue Lemon to where I found all the girls mingling. Remember the salad I raved about a month ago? I got to have it again, and it was just as good.
I love their presentation, and if notice the big blue arrow on the picture below...those little triangular things I couldn't stop eating. I lost track after 3.When they told me that we were going to listen to story tellers, I imagined something totally different. I dunno what I thought...maybe a book, a big chair, and someone reading me a story like in elementary school, maybe even a little boring. So not what happened. It was spectacular. You got caught up in the stories, and at one moment I actually teared up. You can feel their emotions, the energy that surrounds them, and the stories were original. It made me wonder why everyone doesn't go to the Timpanogos Story Telling Festival, and why I had never heard of it!? I can't wait for September, because you bet I am gonna be there with Van enjoying some more of it.

(Wendy a story teller, Big Bruce a story teller, and Carol from Cherish Bound)

Cherish Bound is one of the sponsors of the festival, and Carol was there to help us get excited about making our own stories! Cherish Bound helps you make these fantastic photo/story books for all your treasured memories. I have been working on my Cherish Bound book all weekend, and I am totally diggin' my end result. With all the craziness that is taking place in my life right now, I have kind of been slackin' on the scrapbooking...this is an easy and quick way to catch up. I am excited to get my Cherish Bound book in the mail...I will most def be showing off my end result. =)

AND no post would be complete without showing you some of my girls!Jones and I
Kim and IRebecca, myself, and Vanessa

Cherish Bound also does parties...so I was thinking how fun it would be to have everyone bring over their laptops, and we could sit and chit chat....and makes books!

Oh, those pita triangles were delicious. I could not stop eating those either. You always have the cutest pics AND you look fab considering you got Swine flu the next day!

Ditto - I was expecting something completely different, but was pleasantly surprised with the outcome... AND of course with the Blue Lemon food! Love, love, LOVE that place! Are you going to blog about your Cherish Bound book? Would be interested to see how it turned out! :)
