Food Review: Sconecutter

I don't know about your area, but where I grew up Sconecutter was the high school hang out. It was open 24 hours, and after all the school events...this is where we went. I don't remember really eating the scones as much as I remember the MONSTER spicy fries! They still are my favorite, and I have never ordered the regular fries...so don't ask me how those are.We always order the same thing...roast beef platter with everything on it, and we share. This sandwich and a sandwich I always order at Einstein's Bagel are the only two times I ever eat sprouts. I am not sure that they add flavor, but the tecture is different, and I like them. This sandwich really isn't big enough for two, but we save room for dessert.

The is the honey butter and cinnamon scone...the reason we save room. We both get our own, and it is heavenly. We always order popcorn chicken for Van. We will tell you that it's her favorite thing there, but really we just like...We always eat half of the basket for her, in exchange for a few bites of dessert. ;)Have you tried Sconecutter? What is your favorite thing to order? I am a chicken, and don't branch out...I wonder if their Navajo taco is good...

Want more info about Sconecutter...go here! (Make sure you have your volume turned down, because whoa the music they play on their site!)

Dieting is not for me, a muffin top is what I'll be!

ok, so I am sitting here, in a freezing cold classroom, all alone, trying to focus on the hours of homework ahead of me, and somehow, my PB&J sandwich is a little depressing right now, compared to the delicious pictures you've posted! I've lived in Utah my whole life, and I don't think I've EVER eaten at sconecutter... (despite driving past the one in WVC hundreds of times!!) clearly I am missing out... that all looks delicious!!

I have eaten at Sconecutters, but not often. I ate there a few months ago, and while their scones were good, they weren't great, sadly.

My favorite thing to order is called the sampler or something like that. Comes with the pop corn chicken, spicy fries and a honey butter and cinnamon scone... So good. And wash it down with a big fat Dr pepper! :)

I grew up around some but have never eaten there. I'll have to stop in sometime and try it out. Those fries look delicious. You know me and my fries. :)

I'm craving scones now...I might have to make some tomorrow.

okay, so sconecutter cheese fries were 95% to blame for my 15-20 lbs weight gain in college... but it was SO worth it. Seriously :). Man, I'm suddenly so hungry. They are open late, right!?!?

I have so many great memories of my dad sneaking out early sometimes on saturday mornings and coming back with a big bag of scones. Honey butter for my sister and cinamon honey butter for me. I have actually never gotten anything else there. . .
