I have always enjoyed writing in my journal...but I always hate going back to old entries and reading them. I either don't like the words I used, or I wonder if I should have even made that certain event known to my posterity.I came across Between Me and You books, and I think it such an awesome concept. The books are filled with fun-to-ask and fun-to-answer questions, and each book is geared towards a different family member. I recently got some flash cards that have the same idea behind them. Van and I have had so much fun asking questions back and forth. I think that it would be fun to fill a book out now for Van, and then buy another one for down the road to compare her responses. I think that I find more out about myself and my family when simple questions are asked.
I was browsing through some of the books and clicked on the "Sister" book. One of the questions that made me laugh was, "Were you ever allowed to do something that I wasn't allowed to do? Tell me, I can handle it now!" I can only imagine what my Sista would say. =)

What a fun idea. I loved writing in my journal in hs but like you I hate going back through it now because I hate what I chose to write about.
