I am totally excited about this review and giveaway...I think I have been talking about it for a solid week. I hadn't been to Z Tejas in years, and was thrilled about going back. Z Tejas is a Southwestern style restaurant with a variety of things to choose from. I know I use to think that everything on their menu was fish...so not the case...check out their summer menu here.
I am a firm believer in customer service. It can make or break any experience you have. If the food is less that spectacular, it can make the food taste divine. Just a personal thought. From start to finish the staff at Z Tejas were courteous, helpful in going over the menu, and didn't miss a chance to refill Paul's Dr Pepper. It made me like the restaurant even before I tried all the scrumptious food.
Oh me, oh my is right!! This corn bread looks as good as it tasted. I am totally addicted. I might just start craving this at Midnight (Don't say I didn't warn you Paul!).This was my meal...Barbacoa Enchiladas...smothered in Green Chile. TOO die for!
This is Paul's meal...he got a Steak Burrito...not smothered.
AND this is seriously the #1 reason why you should go try Z Tejas on a Monday, are you ready? When you buy an entree, your child eats FREE!! I know, right?!
This didn't even look like a kids meal to me. Does it to you? In case you were wondering, I totally stole her left overs and ate them for dinner. It was that good.

We saw that place a few weeks ago & wanted to try it, but didn't have time to stop in then, so glad you did a review on it...now I am really wanting to go! And after packing, mid-moving and chasing 5 kids everyday Brandon & I can so use a night out with some fab food!

Mmmm, I totally drooled over that Peach cobbler! Wow, everything you guys ordered looks delish! I've eaten there before with my old roommates for a b-day party and it was surprisingly good food! I didn't think I could find anything I'd like, but I did! You have the best giveaways!
I have never eaten there, but I want to and the only way that I will is if you give this to me! LOL... Looks yummy and I need a date with my hubs! Sorry, I would leave the kids at home though.

I tried Z Tejas year ago on a girls night. YUM. I would love to go back with my husband who I hardly EVER get to spend alone time with. Between work, and taking care of our 3 and 1 1/2 year old, we need to MAKE time for each other and this would be a good start. :)
I want to go to that. I'll take Jessica there for dinner when I finally take her to see Harry Potter 6.

So, I've never been there, but I would totally go... and I would probably order a kids meal, cuz Van's looks so delish (as does the cornbread... yum!) NOW, as to *why* I need this... (aside from being a poor new homeowner?) I haven't been on a date in a YEAR... (do I dare admit that??) exactly ONE YEAR ago last night to be specific... And that guy was a total JERK... he actually said to me: "you seem really smart, right? So why are you a teacher??" Date. Over. The. End. since then, I've been so buried in homework I haven't had time to breathe... so I really need a good excuse for a night out :)

Everything looks delicious. Congratulations on being pregnant! We are so happy for you. We are are also pregnant--eight weeks along. There has been some complications but I'm pretty sure that I'm sick enough now that the baby should be healthy. I would love to win this giveaway because the morning sickness makes it impossible for me to open the fridge, let alone cook a meal. Poor Kevin. I think our first pregnancy cost us like $8,000.00 in out to eat bills. But, Beth is soooooo worth it.

I have NEVER been to a Z Tejas but our friends just rave about it! We are actually not living near one right now but we are visiting family in Utah in the middle of August and this would be perfect for our mini-vacation! My husband and I can go on a date!
